Gone, But Not Forgotten!

Wednesday February 15:
Brady discovers Madison's connection to Ian.
Madison begs Brady to take her back.
Brady just found out that Ian is Madison's husband. This spoiler makes it seem like this is not the case. What other connection would there be? Business associates? Why would she beg Brady to take her back, unless she wants out of her marriage. Best guess, is that Madison doesn't want to be married to Ian and the bastard won't let her go. I've seen him only 2 times and you can already see that he is a complete, OOC, control freak. Almost a tad psycho, if you ask me.

The LAST thing I want to see from the supposedly 'strong and independent' woman they call Madison is begging. WTF.

Brady asks Madison if she's married and realizes it's true.

Roman learns about Carrie and Rafe's kiss and is furious.

Abigail 'fesses up to Melanie about her love for Austin, lying that they slept together.

Brady tells Madison he wants nothing more to do with her.

EJ and Abe prepare for the mayoral race on Election Day.

Will tells EJ he confronted Sami about her having sex with EJ.

Marlena fears John and Hope's marriage is just the start of Stefano's plot to tear her and John apart.

Sami lashes out at Carrie for trying to steal Rafe.

When Carrie denies having feelings for Rafe, Sami accuses her sister of simply trying to hurt her.

Rafe insists he's not going to let Sami walk away from their marriage and pulls her into a kiss.

Madison begs Brady's forgiveness for not telling him she was married.

Ian arrives to see Kate, and it's revealed they once shared a passionate past.

After hearing what Abigail's mystery man did to her, Carrie declares the guy a major jerk.

The election results are announced, and Abe is declared the winner.

Lexie is thrilled for Abe, until she learns he tampered with the debate questions.

After making his victory speech, Abe faces Lexie's wrath.

Nicole announces there's a challenge to the election results, due to ballot tampering.

Ian happens upon Kate and kisses her.

John and Hope learn they must fly to Alamainia alone to get divorced.

Stefano looks at the secret in Alice's envelope and breaks down in tears.

So that's why EJ starts thinking he might lose Nicole. This reveal is right around the corner, I hope they work past this. They were on a break after all.

It does seem clear (and, for once, something about the writing does) that the beastdryfuck was for two reasons: first, as a platform for other stories, as many have said here; and second, for shock, interest, and a bone to ejamis. It was thrilling to them and made the rest of the audience pissed, confused, horrified, amused, or filled with enough wtfuckery to at least wonder enough wtf to keep watching.

It's great for Will's story, for Safe, for Caustin, J&M, Ejole's coming soap drama complete with hurt and reconciliation, and for the reward of all who despise Sami and endure the years of her shit in, FINALLY, a comeuppance for the stupid cow.

I still think the stupid cow will not get the comeuppance that she deserves. I mean just this past Friday she was bitching on Will because he was hinting to Rafe about beastsex. She has the nerve to question him for almost telling him? Then throw Carrie under the bus and put the blame on her.

The kids are in the other room? So which is it Sami, you kick Rafe out, yet you dont want anyone to know? You punish Rafe, but have yet to see any true pain over it...just the pain that your secret will come out?

Brotherly Love

Oooooh, loving the spoilers about Abigail and Carrie's interactions. This s/l is getting nice and soapy. Kate Mansi has the chops to pull it off, but I really hope they don't go so far with it that she ends up being psycho by the time it's all over. I'm getting some whiplash from her quick transition to bad girl, but I can't say that the canvas doesn't need one in that age group.

I liked that you used the word "seem" because while it appears that the ones you listed may be the reasons they had, assuming that anyone here neither are in the writers' room nor know their discussions, we don't know 1. all of the immediate and 2. possible additional reasons down the road for the griefsex, ie what they have planned after this blows up and impacts all affected. Knowing that they for the most part started with most of the previous stories from Higley resolved, they could be easily laying the building blocks for something they really are trying to create down the road. That's why I love watching the show, you get to see what else they have in store for our characters. ;)

I guess I should have added that it seems clear that was ALL the deadbabydrygrunt was: a platform and not the beginning of some epic love story for the beast and Elvis, not aNOther WTD s/l, and not an end to Safe (just some drama for them to "overcome"). I doubt Sami's so-called "hitting bottom" results in any major epiphany her. It never has before. Not "I'm a stupid, selfish brat" or "My mother did not ruin my life". And certainly not a sudden realization that Elvis is her soulmate.

Carrie and Austin try to use as a tool of forgiveness.

I didn't read the entire day ahead, so I have to ask. Is the tool his penis? Because that's what I thought they were attempting to do on this day but that wording is weird.

Who the hell is going to be ganging up on Rafe?

And I wonder what happens between Sami and Carrie that does irreversible damage? Been down this road before. They ALWAYS find a way to "fake make-up".

I hope we get an explanation as to why Madison led Brady on so hard since she's married.

I guess Austin's over his guilt re: the fake sex between he and Abby (judging from the "he sides with Sami instead of Carrie" spoilers.

No, according to the article about Rafe fighting for his marriage Austin sides with Carrie, consistent with what he was doing the other day (i.e., taking blame and forgiving Carrie so easily she was shocked):

Austin arrives just in time to hear Sami tearing into Carrie. He steps between the two and defends his wife. Sami is shocked to see Austin take Carrie's side.

Gone, But Not Forgotten!

Austin is ass kissing Carrie because he feels guilty about his Abby kiss and faux sex, he can't remember.

Sami should be surprised at Austin's reaction to take Carrie's side, makes sense to me.

I think it's funny that we were supposed to think that Austin siding with Carrie is surprising. Especially since we already knew he's trying to fix things with her.
